Relaxation starts here! Enjoy sensational beach and sea views from the covered and open deck, living, dining, kitchen and main bedroom. Open living and dining area is spacious, light and airy with comfortable lounge and reverse cycle air conditioning. Three bedrooms accommodate 6 people. One king bed and two queen beds. Mattresses are very comfortable, and all beds are supplied with linen and towels.

Good to know

Your home away from home with a full sized kitchen. Close to the beach, shops, cafes and Penneshaw pub. Walking distance to oval and picnic area, sculpture walking trail and Sealink terminal. For guests who bring their dog - the property is not fenced.

Guest Access

Catch the Sealink ferry across to Kangaroo Island and you’ve arrived! The house is within walking distance from the Sealink ferry terminal. Leave your car in Cape Jervis and enjoy a quiet weekend by the beach. Or bring your car and visit the island.. it’s up to you!

The perfect romantic weekend away! Peggy and Darian were so kind and thoughtful—even though they weren’t there in person, check-in was seamless and they were quick to respond to any questions. The space was peaceful, beautifully kept, and had everything we needed for a relaxing escape. We’ll definitely be back!

Thank you for letting us stay at your place. Such a beautiful location, easy walk to everything local, great views. Quality fittings throughout. We had a full house in all 3 bedrooms - a very well stocked kitchen for so many people. Everyone commented on how comfy the beds and pillows were. We’ll certainly be back❤️

Beautifully renovated cottage, could easily spend a week or 2 here. Renovated to a very comfortable standard. Away from the hustle and bustle but 12 minute walk to the Penneshaw CBD and Pub. Exceeded all expectations. The view is seriously a $1m view.

We absolutely loved our stay at Darian and Peggy’s. It is a great location to relax and unwind. We loved sitting on the deck on the hammock and watching the ferries come and go, plus it’s a short walk to all the good cafes and coffee shops. It had everything we needed for a great long weekend on the island.

Perfect place to stay, spectacular view, perfect veranda with daybed to sit and contemplate, watching the dolphins, seals.... So wonderful to walk down to the beach whenever you felt like it and the place was welcoming, loved the guesthouse touches like the bookshelf with interesting books- 1001 Places to Visit Before You Die and the communal give back pantry. We had a fantastic holiday and hope to come back.

We loved our stay at Darian and Peggy’s. The first thing is the amazing view. The home is warm and welcoming. Everything is there that you need plus more. Easy walk into the centre of town. Had time to do one of the supplied jigsaws 😀.

This was a great and relaxing place to stay - walkable to town for food and shopping, and even though it's the third tier up from the ocean level, there's two convenient walking paths straight down to the beach nearby. (Nice to know it's tsunami resistant hehe.) The house itself is nice and comfortable, and well spec'd rooms with decent equipment in each.
