Relaxation starts here! Enjoy sensational beach and sea views from the covered and open deck, living, dining, kitchen and main bedroom. Open living and dining area is spacious, light and airy with comfortable lounge and reverse cycle air conditioning. Three bedrooms accommodate 6 people. One king bed and two queen beds. Mattresses are very comfortable, and all beds are supplied with linen and towels.

Good to know

Your home away from home with a full sized kitchen. Close to the beach, shops, cafes and Penneshaw pub. Walking distance to oval and picnic area, sculpture walking trail and Sealink terminal. For guests who bring their dog - the property is not fenced.

Our focus is comfort and convenience. The mattresses and linen are high quality. The kitchen is stocked with more than the essentials for short and long stays. We are continually making improvements so be sure to check back in on us in the future!

Catch the Sealink ferry across to Kangaroo Island and you’ve arrived! The house is within walking distance from the Sealink ferry terminal. Leave your car in Cape Jervis and enjoy a quiet weekend by the beach. Or bring your car and visit the island.. it’s up to you!

This place was an immediate WOW You cannot ask for a better view - watching the water and the beach . The home was prestine , large bedrooms, extra comfy beds. All the linen and towels were Adairs and not scratchy cheap items. The home is filled with books and games and records if the weather isn’t great or you just want to spend time watching the world go by. There is absolutely everything you need here. For exploring the Island you will need a car but if you just want time out the local Penneshaw Pub and IGA are within easy walking distance. It is extremely quiet along this little street with holiday homes and residents . Would I come back ? YES and already planning it as an annual spot.

Great accommodation which was comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved sitting on the deck and soaking up the view, watching the water, dogs dashing along the beach, and the ferries coming and going!!

Another lovely stay at Bower by the Sea. The house is in such a great location, comfortable and well appointed. Peggy and Darian are excellent hosts, making our stay relaxing and very enjoyable.

Bower By The Sea is in THE best location with absolutely spectacular views. The home is extremely clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Very comfy king size bed, gorgeous modern designers bathroom, and a beautiful spacious kitchen...a real gem of a home! This was our second stay, and again we found it very very difficult to leave! Thank you so much Peggy & Darren for sharing your little piece of paradise with us, and our 2 labradoodles.
